8. What is the difference between Humanities Computing Centers and Electronic Text Centers?

Although Electronic Text Centers are new in libraries, Humanities Computing is an established international field of research, and work at Humanities Computing Centers is extremely relevant to the planning and implementation of an Electronic Text Center. In fact, many of the software packages for text analysis and manipulation were first conceived as projects in Humanities Computing.
